111% funded - time to talk stretch goals

Good morning, folks. How are you doing?
Well, that's been a bit of a week, hasn't it? Five days in and we're 111% funded thanks to your incredible support. With well over three weeks still to go - and the increasing likelihood that we're going to overshoot our goal by some margin - it's perhaps time to discuss stretch goals.
Apologies for not having put something out about this sooner. As alluded to earlier, I wasn't expecting to hit our goal so quickly!
Thoughts about stretch goals
In terms of funding the 10th Anniversary Collection, the money raised through Kickstarter is only part of the overall cost of the project. In addition to your generous support, I'm also contributing a degree of personal funds to help cover the overall costs.
Now that we've exceeded our target, any additional money raised through Kickstarter will reduce the amount I need to personally invest, leaving more resources to fund the production of Afterlife Inc. Volume 7. My priority is ensuring that the series continues to grow and thrive, and your support helps make this possible.
That said, given that we've been lucky enough to hit our goal so soon, I think it's only fair that we think about stretch goals and a way to give you all something extra as a thank you for your support!
Stretch goals
I'll be working on updating the Kickstarter page today and tomorrow to reflect our stretch goals, and I'll be sure to let you know once these are officially announced. Given that we're fast approaching £10,000 it seems fitting to crack out our first stretch goal then. As a sneak peek, I'm thinking that an advance digital copy of the Afterlife Inc. TTRPG sourcebook (very much a work in progress!) for all backers might be on the cards.
And of course, there'll be more to follow.
Thanks again for the incredible support, everyone. I look forward to announcing exciting new things soon!
Jon
I love to talk…
Gary from Comics Anonymous (a long-running, excellent UK comics blog) very kindly gave me the opportunity to wax lyrical about Afterlife Inc. in a recent interview. You can read the full feature at the link below. Gary's an absolute hero, who's supported comics in all their forms for over a decade. Definitely one of the good ones.

While I've got you here, I wanted to give a shout out to another project that's currently live on Kickstarter. Tails of Mystery is a noir mystery comic that also involves a fair amount of skulduggery and supernatural shenanigans. Oh, and cats.
I've known Asa for several years now through the UK comics scene - and while he started out writing reviews (some of which were even positive about Afterlife Inc. - cheers Asa!) he's since branched out into creating his own books - and to considerable acclaim.
If you fancy checking out Tails of Mystery, the Kickstarter campaign is a great way to get hold of the complete mini-series as a single graphic novel.

Thanks all - and best of luck to Asa and the team!
