The Afterlife Inc. Podcast | Episodes 1 and 2 now live!

Hi folks, hope all is well.

I just wanted to let you know that the first two episodes of the behind-the-scenes podcast promised as a stretch goal are now live. You can find them on the Big Punch Studios website, on Apple and Spotify, and wherever you get your podcasts.

If you like the sound of me, in a dark room, talking at length about the history of Afterlife Inc. while drinking coffee, this could be the show for you. Sadly, there was a slight audio issue when recording, which means that my voice sounds a bit tinny in these episodes. This is frustrating, as my recording set-up is usually better than that, but I'll be sure to correct it in future episodes.

Thanks again for the support, folks. I hope you enjoy this one-two punch of a deep dive into a) the secret origins of Afterlife Inc. and b) Volume 1: Dying to Tell.

I just wanted to let you know about my new Kickstarter, which launches on Tuesday 28 March. Compared to the Afterlife Inc. 10th Anniversary Collection, this one is much smaller in scope - so it should hopefully be a simple little project to get out into the world.

The Comic Writer's Journal is a customisable journal to help comic writers of all skill levels, from beginner to industry professional, bring their stories to life. Through the use of customisable templates and examples, the Comic Writer's Journal will guide you through the process of completing a summary, overview and page plan of your comic - ensuring that you always know exactly what's happening on each page, regardless of length.

Hi everyone, hope all is well. Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a relaxing time over the holidays. Now that we're settling in to 2023 I wanted to share a quick update on fulfilment to let you know how we're doing - and what better way to do that than with stats!

So far...

• 96% of UK rewards have been fulfilled
• 37% of US rewards have been fulfilled
• 100% of EU/World rewards are ready to send and will be shipping within the next week

The vast majority of UK backers will now have received their rewards. I very much hope you enjoy them and I look forward to fulfilling the remaining rewards within the next week!

EU/World backers - your packages are all set to be shipped out this week by the fulfilment company, who will be covering all the IOSS/customs technicalities for European shipping.

US backers - a quick note

Of all the items, the only one that's been an issue for fulfilment has been the commemorative coin. I'm just sorting out a few things with the fulfilment centre but if I can't resolve them within the next week or so, I'll ship out all remaining orders minus the coin and then send a second package later with your coin included. Apologies for the inconvenience but I'd rather you not be kept waiting to enjoy your books while I get the coin sorted.

Podcast

One of my promised stretch goals was a behind-the-scenes podcast going through the history of Afterlife Inc. I'll be releasing episodes once everyone has their books so that you can read along at home, but the series trailer is now live. You should be able to find and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other podcast aggregators.
